
The book of Proverbs is known around the world for being a treasury of practical life wisdom. Written over 3000 years ago, its truths are as impactful today as they were in antiquity. As it has been well said, we are a product of our choices, Solomon’s words for the wise echo the same:
“If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, and if you scoff, you alone will bear it.” Proverbs 9:12

The search for true knowledge continues to rage on. Millions upon millions of books, websites, blogs, and magazines continue to be published and republished. Some is old, some new. Much of it is regurgitated information with a fresh coat of paint, with new titles, but still the same stuff that was written countless times before, back through the centuries.
There is a certain finality to all things. And there is a cause and effect relationship between all things. Life, so clouded by paradoxes and mysteries, is also held together by certainties which we cannot escape.
“My son, if you will receive my words, a
